Welcome to Sugaric Sweet Treats! What began as a humble online bakery with a passion for customized cakes and pastries has blossomed into a cherished name synonymous with quality pasalubong and snack treats across Bukidnon.

Founded by the dynamic couple, Ric and Sugar, Sugaric Sweet Treats combines their shared passion for baking and entrepreneurial spirit. While Sugar meticulously leads our production to ensure every item is crafted to perfection, Ric expertly manages our distribution and marketing, extending our reach far and wide.

Our journey took a flavorful turn in 2022 when our signature Cheese Sticks became an undeniable hit! Their popularity skyrocketed, prompting us to pivot our focus towards the large-scale production and distribution of these beloved snacks. Today, our Cheese Sticks are a staple in pasalubong centers, tourist souvenir shops, convenience stores, and school canteens, making us a proud representation of Bukidnon's delicious culinary landscape.

Government Support and Partnerships

Sugaric Cakes and Pastries Manufacturing is a proud government-supported MSME, recognized and assisted by various national and local agencies to help scale our impact and enhance our competitiveness:

DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY (DTI)

KMME Graduate: We are a graduate of the Kapatid Mentor Me (KMME) Program, a collaborative initiative between DTI and GO NEGOSYO, completed from July to October 2023.

Active MSME Participant: We are a regular attendee of seminars and workshops conducted by the DTI Negosyo Center, ensuring that we continually upgrade our business capabilities.

Tatak Pinoy Program Recipient: One of the 20 deserving MSMEs selected under the DTI's TATAK PINOY Program, receiving branding, labeling, and packaging development assistance to meet global market standards.

DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (DOST)

SETUP Beneficiary: We are a recipient of DOST’s Small Enterprise Technology Upgrade Program (SETUP) in 2025, which allowed us to upgrade our baking equipment to FDA-compliant standards.

Ongoing FDA Readiness Support: Currently undergoing FDA Consultation with DOST experts for our future License to Operate (LTO).

Product Development Assistance: We also received technical support for shelf-life evaluation and laboratory testing for salmonella spp., helping ensure food safety and product quality.

DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT (DOLE)

DILP Beneficiary: Through DOLE’s Individual Livelihood Program (DILP) in partnership with Malaybalay City's PESO, we were granted ingredients to support our production.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT - MALAYBALAY CITY

Tourism Support: Our products are featured and sold at the Malaybalay City Tourism Office’s Local Products Section, giving exposure to tourists and visitors.

Agripreneurs Association Member: We are an active member of the Malaybalay City Agripreneurs Association, organized by the City Agriculture Office. Our products are regularly displayed and sold at the Malaybalay City Hall lobby, promoting local goods to both residents and tourists.
